Community Involvement

LMI Give

LMI Give was launched internationally in January 2005, following a strong desire by employees and management to make a positive contribution to our communities. LMI Group's six selected charities are:

In support of employees who choose to make a contribution through the LMI Give program, LMI Group has committed to match all contributions on a dollar-for-dollar basis to the value of $20,000 per annum.

Employee Volunteering

LMI Group employees can also take community leave (one day paid leave or two half-days) to volunteer their time to work with their charity of choice.

LMI Gainsay

The LMI Group lobby and inform the public on issues that are unjust and or damage the community. Our major initiative is our campaign against the double and triple taxation of insurance by state governments which results in no or under insurance which in turn hurts or destroys business, and affects employees and their families.

LMI Group management and staff regularly donate their time and financial support to industry associations for training, and mentoring and community assistance in Australia, New Zealand and overseas particularly Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Singapore.
