Document Library

LMI Group brings their unique library of insurance documents direct to your desktop!

To search the library, simply enter your search terms in the Search field and click the Search button. The search will be based on the search terms as displayed (ie. same order and spelling).

An Advanced Search function has been included for your convenience. To use this option, click the Advanced Search button and choose your selection from either or both of the Company and Document Type dropdown fields. Enter any words required in the search terms field (or leave blank to view all documents that meet the Company and Document Type options chosen), and then press the Search button to display the results.

The search criteria will automatically default to current documents. If you are searching for an old document, you can narrow the search results by selecting Archived documents. Alternatively, if you are uncertain as to the status of the document, please select All.

Search Methods

We provide examples below to illustrate the various Advanced Search functions available.

  • Search by Search Terms
    • In the example below, we are searching for all documents that contain the term ‘motor vehicle theft’ in the title.
    • Type the term ‘motor vehicle theft’ in the search terms field.
    • Click the Search button.

  • Search by Company
    • In the example below, we are searching for the documents offered by Lumley Insurance.
    • The dropdown box contains a list of companies to choose from.
    • Select Lumley Insurance and click the Search button.

  • Search by Document
    • In the example below, we are searching for all quotation forms.
    • The dropdown box contains a list of documents to choose from.
    • Select Quote Form and click the Search button.

  • Search by Company and Document Type
    • In the example below, we are searching for all QBE Insurance claim forms.
    • Select QBE Insurance from the dropdown list of companies.
    • Select Claim Forms from the dropdown list of documents.
    • Click the Search button.

In addition to the above examples, you can also search by selecting a Company and entering search terms. Likewise, selecting a Document Type and search terms is particularly useful when insurers issue versions of their standard corporate documents through intermediaries, utilising similar names to the original document.

TIP: Selecting more than one criteria will narrow the search considerably!
